The Sikh Next Door is a 15-minute documentary that introduces 4 young Sikhs born and raised in America, and explores their attitudes, culture, religion and heritage in an engaging and conversational style. It has been aired nationally on PBS and is part of a curriculum package that helps teachers teach diversity by using the example of Sikhs. The film was produced in 2004 by the Lohgarh Sikh Educational Foundation and TRY Productions, with financial support from the NCCJ ChevronTexaco September 11th Anti-Bias Fund. The films Executive Producers are Mandeep Singh Dhillon and Tami Yeager. Tami Yeager is also the Director/Producer, and Preetmohan Singh is a Producer.
